You need just 4 ingredients to make these fun Christmas baubles. I found this recipe on Instagram and couldn’t resist having a go! You’ll find our free-to-download Widgit symbol and photo recipe at the bottom of the page.

Hints, Tips and Suggestions

πŸŽ„ Although the title says Oreo you can use any round sandwich cookies. Lots of supermarkets produce their own at a reasonable price.

πŸŽ„ I used white chocolate but you could use milk or dark if you prefer.

πŸŽ„ Do melt the chocolate slowly in the microwave: a few seconds at a time then stir. Chocolate can overheat quickly, especially white chocolate (I burnt my first batch πŸ˜•).

πŸŽ„ Don’t poke the fork too far in between the biscuit layers or they’ll come apart (I live and learn πŸ˜€).

πŸŽ„ I used Twirl chunks for the top of the bauble. Lots of versions of this recipe you see on the internet use mini Reeces Cups but I wanted something nut free. You could also use Rolos or mini candy canes.

πŸŽ„ You could add food colouring to the white chocolate – perhaps green or red to be really festive.

πŸŽ„ You can decorate the baubles with whatever you like. I used sprinkles but you could use smarties or m and ms, chocolate nibs, jelly tots… and there’s all sorts of decorations and sprinkles in the supermarket baking section at this time of year.
